Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome.
A few notes about the setlist:
It was the fifth time Phish ever played Soul Shakedown Party.
Jesus Just Left Chicago hadn’t been played in 90 shows, and only once since June 2000.
It was the first time Dixie Cannonball and Gone were ever played.
Corrina hadn’t been played in 100 shows.
It was the 13th time What’s the Use? was ever played, and the first time in 74 shows.
Tela hadn’t been played in 238 shows.
Rocky Top hadn’t been played in 86 shows.
Sand hadn’t been played in 40 shows and it was the third time since 2000.
It was the 23rd time The Curtain (With) was ever played, and only the 10th time since the 1980s.
Lifeboy hadn’t been played in 54 shows.
HYHU > Love you > HYHU hadn’t been played in 65 shows, and it included a vacuum solo by a member of the audience, Rich, who later got Fish’s vacuum as a present. It also featured pretty spectacular drumming by Trey Anastasio.
Frankenstein had not been played in 31 shows.
So overall this was a present from Phish to all of us in attendance, busting out songs they hadn’t played in, literally, years. Great, great, great, great.
